Demetra has had the opportunity to share her love of music with many students through performing children’s operas, giving master classes and workshops, and teaching private lessons. Her objective in teaching is to inspire her students’ creative growth while building their musical knowledge and technical capability.

Demetra maintains a private music studio where she offers voice and piano lessons to students of all ages. She was formerly on the voice and piano faculty at the Crestwood Music School in Eastchester, NY. As part of the Body & Spirit program at Rutgers Church in Manhattan, she taught classes in music appreciation and co-taught a musical theatre workshop for children. She has also taught voice and piano at The Performing Arts Center at the Bronx House.
